Coaching with passion and energy

Having successfully coached thousands of individuals over the last fourteen years, I have crafted what I believe to be a highly engaging and totally tailored coaching experience, aimed at helping my clients, regardless of their situation, to develop a clear path for future success and fulfilment. My clients often tell me that they like my relaxed coaching style and quickly felt able to trust me to guide them through what at first can appear to be a daunting process. This bond of openness and trust is critical to the success of a coaching partnership. Initially clients can come to coaching to rectify what they perceive to be a negative issue in their work or home life. My approach, however, is to focus firmly on the positives and provide a stimulating, motivating and most importantly, pragmatic coaching experience.

Having greatly benefited from coaching myself at a critical point in my life, I am passionate about helping others by providing an empathetic, congruent and supportive approach that they will find creative, stimulating and fun.

My main purpose is to help clients ‘lift the fog’ that often gets in the way. I use my passion and natural energy to help clients navigate their challenges of achieving clarity. Once the fog is gone they quickly develop a path to improved performance, greater productivity and clear actions for sustainable change. I guide clients with pace; ensuring that learning is quickly translated into positive action and the impact of personal changes is embedded and applied.

My background

Initially, I spent 20 years in diverse and challenging roles for three international, blue-chip organisations. I started as a Management Trainee in the banking sector, before moving into an International Sales and Marketing role for a manufacturing business. Travelling around Europe, my role was to build strong business partnerships and lead the creation and implementation of core marketing strategies.

In 1993, I joined Kraft Foods Europe, where I qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply two years later. My passion for personal development, specifically 1:1 coaching, grew during this period and, in addition to facilitating corporate management training programmes, I volunteered as a Samaritan and qualified as a therapist in 2001.

My own experience of coaching

I can personally testify to the transformational power a great coaching relationship offers. It enabled me to find the right path when my professional life reached a crossroads in 1996.

After a varied career, I realised, at the age of 35, that despite this success, I wasn’t really engaged and fully motivated by my future direction and options.

With the help of a coach, I was able to successfully navigate change and realise my true potential.

Since 2000, I have coached thousands of leaders, executives and private clients to reach their professional and personal goals, together with a real sense of well-being.
